GTM ANZ is run by Pointer Pty Ltd (ABN 73 641 653 312), trading as Pointer Strategy, in Melbourne, with Firmable as its primary partner. What we collect from you

• What you type into our forms: usually your name, email, company, role, city and message, and anything else the join form asks for.
• When you RSVP to an event: what the RSVP form asks for, such as dietary needs.
• When you join the WhatsApp community: the name and phone number WhatsApp shows us.

What we collect from elsewhere

To keep the community useful, we add work details from Clay and from public professional profiles such as LinkedIn: your job title, company, LinkedIn address and city. We keep them up to date, including when you change roles.

How we use it

• To run the community: invitations, dinners and events, introductions, and replying to you.
• To send you newsletters. People who join GTM ANZ are added to the Pointer and Firmable newsletters. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To plan better events, and to list companies on the Register.
• Pointer Strategy may also contact you about roles or services relevant to your work. Tell us if you would rather it did not.

Who we share it with

• Event sponsors. A partner who sponsors an event gets the guest list for that event: names, titles and companies.
• Firmable, for its newsletter, as above.
• The services we use to run things: HubSpot (our contact database), Cloudflare (this website, its spam check and analytics), Resend (email), Reoon (checks that an email address can receive mail), Slack (alerts to our team), Luma (event registration), Clay (work details) and WhatsApp (the community chat).

We never sell your details, and we never say who said what at a dinner.

Outside Australia

Some of those services store data in the United States and other countries, so your details may be held there.

The Register

The Register lists the companies our members work at, by name only. It never names people. Any company can be taken off the same working day through the removal request.

Cookies and similar

This site sets no tracking cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile checks your browser when you send a form, to stop spam. Our forms send your details to HubSpot from our server, not from your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while you are a member and for up to two years after you leave or last take part, then delete or de-identify them. Form submissions are kept for two years. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.

Keeping it safe

Only our team and the services above can reach your details. Everything travels encrypted.

Your choices

• See, correct or delete what we hold about you.
• Unsubscribe from any newsletter, using the link in it or by asking us.
• Ask Pointer Strategy not to contact you about roles or services.
• Ask us not to pass your details to an event's sponsor, before the event.
